The table serves as a guideline for the selection of a normal surfskate. However, nothing is set in stone. Depending on the application and purpose, the table can also be ignored: For example, if you are looking for a mini cruiser surf skate for the city and are taller than 180cm, can easily do this with a board under 30". Conversely, someone who is lighter and wants to ride long carves or cover more distance can take a longer board, take a longer board. Are you unsure between two different lengths of surf skate? What is the main area of use for the board? If you are more likely to be out and about on the road and want to cover longer distances, then opt for the longer board. If you want to take your surf skate to the skate park or the bowl, then take the shorter version. *The board length is given in inches. |

| Skateboard Selection Guide
The two decisive factors for the right size of skateboard are the wheelbase and the width of the skateboard deck. A shorter wheelbase makes it easier to turn the skateboard and turns are easier in general. A wider skateboard shape makes it easier to position and place the feet and offers more stability when skating. The tables above are used to select the right skateboard for children or teenagers. Adults usually skateboards with a wheelbase between 14.2" and 14.7". The width of the board varies between 8.25" and 10" for adults and depends on shoe and body size as well as personal preference and use. In general, slightly wider boards are easier to ride and offer more stability, especially in the bowl or mini ramp. *The board dimensions are given in inches. |

| Surfboard Selection Guide
A surfboard must offer enough buoyancy so that you can paddle comfortably, start waves and land safely on the board during take-off. A surfboard that is too small will be no fun if you suddenly only get two waves per surf session. Conversely, the surfboard shouldn't be too big for you either. After all, you want to reach the next surf level, practise turns or learn the duck dive. A very good indicator of which board suits your surfing level, your weight, your surfing experience and your surfing fitness, is the volume of the surfboard measured in liters. Pyzel Surfboards Phantom
Das Pyzel Phantom ist das Daily Driver Shortboard aus der Pyzel Ghost Surfboard Familie: Ein Shortboard mit etwas mehr Volumen für mehr Paddel Power jedoch ohne Abstriche in der Performance. Der "Sweet Spot" des Pyzel Phantom ist deutlich größer als bei einem regulären Perfomance Shortboard. Du musst daher kein Surfprofi sein, um mit dem Shortboard Spaß zu haben. Als Daily Driver passt das Phantom für allround Surf von Hüfte bis über Kophohe Wellen.
Das Phantom entspringt einer Surfboard Familie bestehend aus dem Pyzel Ghost, dem Pyzel Phantom und dem Gremlin. Der Shaper Jon Pyzel entwickelte das Ghost für Surfweltmeister John John Florence. Das Ghost funktioniert sehr gut in kopfhohen oder größeren Wellen und ist auch für durchschnittliche Surfer leicht zu handhaben. Um ein ähnliches Surferlebnis in kleineren Wellen zu bieten, hat Jon Pyzel aus dem Ghost zwei weitere Surfboards abgeleitet: Das Phantom und das Gremlin. Das Phantom deckt als Daily Driver einen Wellenbereich vom Hüft bis über kopfhohen Wellen ab. Das Gremlin kommt im unteren Wellenbereich von knie- bis schulterhohen Wellen zum Einsatz.
Suchst du nach einem Surfboard Quiver, das eine Wellenrange von kniehohen Wellen bis double Overhead abdeckt, dann bist du mit dem Gremlin, Phanton und dem Ghost genau richtig. Der große Vorteil daran ist, du kannst leicht zwischen den Boards wechseln ohne dich groß auf ein neues Board einstellen zu müssen, da die Boards alle eine sehr ähnliche DNA haben.

Pyzel Phantom Produkt Beschreibung
The Phantom is the Step-down version of John John Florence's current favorite model the Ghost.
When we first brought out the Ghost we had no idea that its unique design would come to be embraced by so many people in so many different types of waves. However, the one bit of feedback we kept hearing was that it was that it works best in waves shoulder-high and up, so we looked at making a step-down board that would bring that same feel to the head-high and under days that make up most of our daily surf sessions.
The Phantom is a Ghost squashed down, souped up, and with added volume, great for your everyday sessions in less than epic conditions.
We left the same Ghost rocker but added more single concave to flatten it out through the center, helping to create speed and flow without taking away from the overall performance or feel of the original design.
The added width in the tail and nose create a more parallel, fuller outline that helps keep speed up through slower sections and tight turns.
The rails are full but not chunky, giving you more floatation and speed without taking away the sensitivity that we all love in our boards.
Best in waist-high to slightly overhead waves of all types the Phantom is your daily driver with a high performance edge.
